Let’s start with the Reception Barn! Sitting at the top of the hill on the property, it is sure to be one of the first things you will notice. And for a good reason - it’s beautiful. The century barn has maintained it’s authentic and original charm, and has been updated with features to make our guests feel a little more comfortable! The barn is climate controlled and fully equipped with air conditioning for the hottest day of the summer, or heating for the cold chill of the winter. This means that we are able to host your event any time of the year! The Reception Barn has a full in house sound system with speakers above the dance floor so that all guests are able to enjoy the party even if they’re not dancing up a storm. There is a projection system with a screen for video or slideshows. The barn can accommodate up to 200 guests seated, and is fully wheel chair accessible!

Once you step foot into the Blue Bungalow you will never want to leave. The house located just down the lane from the barn is the perfect retreat for our brides and their bridal party to prepare for the big walk down the aisle, or a great spot for a weekend away. The Blue Bungalow can sleep up to 10 people, has a full kitchen, and three bathrooms. It is flooded with natural light and the back deck has beautiful views of the whole estate.

Located just down the road from the estate, the Log Cabin is normally used for the groom and the groomsmen or out of town guests! The Log Cabin can sleep up to 7 people comfortably. The cabin sits on a beautiful piece of property with a laneway lined with maple trees, two ponds, and fields all around. The authentic log cabin is decorated with the history of our small community, and will have you feeling like a local in no time.

The blue barn is located at the bottom of the hill, and close to the oak tree where most ceremonies are held. The blue barn is charming and convenient. It is typically used to hold the cocktail hour at our weddings. This allows our guests to keep the reception barn a surprise until it is time for guests to be seated. It is fully equipped with a bar for serving drinks, and table and chairs so that guests can relax!

The grounds are one of the most appealing things about Sydenham Ridge. From season to season they are constantly changing and will be unique to the day of your event and present an unlimited amount of photo opportunities. The oak tree where most ceremonies are held is more than 200 years old. There are over 50 acres of trails and forests that guests have access to. Our covered bridge is a favourite of many, and the little white chapel across the road is a historic beauty.
